The classic porch swing has a very simple yet traditional designe. All hardware is zinc coated to resist rust and corrosion. It is sealed with a beautiful oil based stain at the factory and some light yearly maintenance will be required to keep the original finish. The stain we use is available for purchase at most hardware stores and home centers. Unlike a painting however, staining only takes a few minutes. The Classic porch swing may also be left untreated and weather to a silver gray. Either way, it may be left outdoors all year long for years of enjoyment. Should you decide to order the 4' classic porch swing, it will be delivered to your home knocked down in a carton so it can be UPSed. The back, seat , and sides are totally assembled for very easy final assembly. It requires approximately 30-45 minutes of final assembly and even the inexperienced should have little trouble.
