This is our largest porch glider in our line. It is also our most rugged. It has been designed in a "mission style"? which is very popular in furniture today. All hardware is zinc coated to resist rust and corrosion. It is sealed with a beautiful oil base stain at the factory and some light yearly maintenance will be required to keep the original finish. The stain we use is available for purchase at most hardware stores and home centers. Unlike painting, staining takes only a few minutes. This porch glider may also be left untreated and weather naturally to a silver gray. Either way, the 5' mission porch glider may be left outdoors all year long for years of enjoyment. Finally, should you decide to order the 5' mission porch glider, it will be delivered to your home knocked down in a carton so it can be UPSed. The back, seat and sides are totally assembled for very simple assembly. The instructions to assemble the 5' mission cedar porch glider are very easy to follow. It takes approximately 30-45 minutes to final assembly, and even the most inexperienced should have little trouble. For those who want the mission design but slightly smaller, we also offer it in a 4' version.
